Dear Fellow Conservative,

On this Memorial Day, I want us all to remember the great bravery of our fallen heroes. Let's remember the legacy of those who fought and died throughout all of American history -- from 1776 to the Alamo to Afghanistan.

We're especially proud of the service members and veterans who call our district and area home. Many of their family members are among those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

That is something we can never fully repay. But we will keep fighting to preserve the America they bled and died for -- the freedom that makes this nation the greatest one on earth.

Let's honor their sacrifice with our prayers and by showing respect for the flag under which they fought.

We would not have the freedoms and modern comforts we enjoy today if it weren't for their heroism.
