Dear UMWA Activist,

At the National Miners' Monument, Union Presidents and officials paid tribute to the 26 men and one woman who lost their lives in the worst coal mine fire disaster in Utah history on Dec. 19, 1984.

International Secretary-Treasurer Levi Allen, International District 22 Vice President Mike Dalpiaz, and Chairman of the Utah Industrial Commission Jaceson Maughan, were all speakers at this event.
