On this last Monday in May, I hope you will join me in honoring those who have given their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day reminds us that freedom is never free, and that we have an obligation to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the cause of America.

As Lincoln said, “it is for us the living to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced.”

In the spirit, let us dedicate ourselves to the cause of America, and honor the bravery of those who died defending it.
