This Memorial Day, I join people across the country in remembering and honoring the service members who gave their lives for our country.

We can honor their memories by carrying on their fight for our country, our democracy, and our values. We do that by continuing to work together, by making our voices heard at the ballot box, and by standing up for our freedoms — freedoms they fought and died for.

We must work together to fight for our values — today and every day. Thank you for all you do to honor their sacrifice by working to build a more perfect union.
