Friend,

On Memorial Day, we honor the brave Americans who lost their lives serving in the United States military. They selflessly sacrificed their lives so that we can enjoy our constitutional rights to life, to liberty, and to the pursuit of happiness.

While we can never completely repay our debt to the selfless service members we remember today, we owe it to them, their families, and their friends to come together and honor their sacrifice. I hope you will join me in honoring their memories today.

To those who are personally impacted by this day, please know I am thinking of you and the loved ones you hold so close to your heart. We will never forget those who gave their lives for our country.
