Today, I wanted to take a moment of reflection as we honor and remember those who gave their lives for this country.

We can never fully repay those who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending safety, freedoms, and values. So we must honor their memories by keeping our promises to today’s service members, veterans, and their families. I'll continue to do everything in my power to improve healthcare and benefits for all who serve and who have served, I'll make sure they have the support they need for any future job or education opportunities, and I'll continue to advocate for our Gold Star families.

To all, I wish you a safe and relaxing Memorial Day.
