Today, we honor and remember the brave service members who laid down their lives to defend our country, freedom, and democracy.

Our deepest gratitude goes to those who answered the call to serve and gave us the opportunity to make our country better. 

We may not be able to fully repay these patriots for the ultimate sacrifice, but we can honor them today by never forgetting their selflessness in serving our country and recommitting our own promise to continue our work to make our country a better place for all where freedom and democracy are protected.

Please join me on this Memorial Day by taking a moment to reflect on our fallen heroes and their bravery, courage, and honor. 

Whether you're honoring a family member, a neighbor, or a friend today, I wish you a safe Memorial Day.
