This Memorial Day, I want to express my appreciation for all of the brave heroes who have lost their lives in service to our country. We are all eternally grateful for their sacrifice and will never forget their tireless commitment to our freedom.

This day has special meaning for all Americans, but I would like to give special recognition to the family and friends of our fallen soldiers. Your resilience in the face of great loss has inspired myself and so many others to work to make our country a better place.

I also want to implore you to continue supporting our veterans every day, in any way you can. However you celebrate today, please remember to give thanks for our freedom.
