Dear John,

As we eagerly anticipate the start of summer, as we enjoy parades, BBQ, and time with our families, let us remember why we have the ability to do these things.

Since before the founding of our great nation, men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice to, not only work to create a more perfect union, but to defend and safeguard our freedoms. Please take a moment, and bow your head, and offer a prayer and a thank you to the brave American veterans who have sacrificed their lives to ensure our freedoms, our values, and our principles that make the USA the greatest nation the world has ever known. May God bless and protect those who have served and are serving our nation.
