John,

All gave some, some gave all.

Each year on Memorial Day, Americans and Hoosiers remember those who have
fallen in service of our country. Without their sacrifice, we wouldn’t have our
freedoms.

As war rages in Ukraine, Governor Holcomb is reminded of how lucky we are to
have the safety, security, and privilege of being Americans.

From the Revolution on, courageous Americans have stepped up, answered the
call, and fought for the shining beacon of hope and democracy that our nation
represents.

Without the brave men and women who gave their lives in our armed forces
throughout our storied history, we would be nothing.

Today and every day in Indiana, we honor and remember those who gave their
lives so that we could be free.

– Team Holcomb
