Friend, I just got an important update from my team: National Republicans are flooding the airwaves with TV ads to flip my seat – just as the general election officially kicks off.

NBC News is calling Georgia the "most important swing state" of the year – so the GOP is coming after me as its top target for defeat. They've already poured nearly $15 million into my Republican opponent's campaign coffers, and now, recent polling shows me 1 point down.
