Dear John

If you live within reach of London, we'd love to see you at our annual event at Kensington Town Hall – Chris Packham will be joining us! In other news, there's still time to send an email to Defra about grey squirrels, and of course, the general election is imminent – you can use our election tools to find out how animal friendly your candidates are. Details below.

Grey squirrels need your help

The situation for grey squirrels sadly remains unchanged.  Natural England still plan on revoking all licences to rescue and release grey squirrels on 1st December.

It is essential to continue to take action, and keep the pressure on Defra to intervene.  Please complete our e-action if you haven’t already, and share with family and friends. Thank you.

Vote for Animals

Ask your election candidates to stand up for animals!

The General Election is a valuable opportunity to get animal issues onto the political agenda. Please will you take a moment to contact your local Parliamentary candidates and ask them to sign up to four key pledges to help animals?

You may also like to take a look at our Vote for Animals website. Here, you can check who your candidates are, see if they have expressed any views on animal issues, and ask them to sign our key pledges.

Urge Kellogg’s to Make it Vegan!

We’re calling on Kellogg’s UK to switch to a plant-based vitamin D for their cereals, which will make the vast majority of them suitable for vegans. Currently, the vitamin D they use comes from lanolin, which is an oil derived from sheep’s wool.
