She's running to replace Ed Perlmutter in a Republican-targeted district that became more competitive after redistricting.
• As both a pediatrician and a member of the state legislature, Dr. Yadira Caraveo has taken on tough issues and worked to pass historic legislation. She has advocated for lower prescription drug prices, drastically cutting back on poisoning pollution, and ensuring Coloradans have access to paid family and sick leave. She's running to represent a new district that election experts have named a "toss-up."
