I hope you had a great Thanksgiving spent in the company of family, friends, and loved ones. It's so important that we set time aside to reflect and give thanks.

As this year begins to wrap up, I wanted to reach out to you. We can't forget our ultimate goal: Standing up for California values that are under attack from the Trump administration.

Fighting Trump's agenda is critical for the progress of our state and of our nation.

When Trump denies climate change, we have to band together to fight it ourselves.

When he sides with the NRA in the wake of (yet another) tragedy, we have to fight for commonsense gun laws that will keep our kids safe.

When he tries to strip away our healthcare, we have to fight to make healthcare a right, not a privilege.

When he praises dictators and threatens the integrity of our democracy, we have to fight back to protect and preserve our values as a nation.

Team, here's the truth: Together we are more powerful than Trump and his reckless agenda. But we need to show that our grassroots team hasn't lost momentum.
