Hello, I have three important updates for you:
  1. Rick Caruso has already spent $37.5 MILLION of his own personal funds to buy the race for Los Angeles mayor.

  2. An LA Times poll showed this race is neck-and-neck. Caruso's spending is not only jaw-dropping — it's actually helping him climb in the polls.

  3. We made a tough budget call a few weeks ago to go up on TV. By going up on the air, we're sharing Karen's vision for L.A. to help get out the vote before the primary.
I'm going to level with you: we took a huge risk placing that TV buy. TV ads are expensive, especially in Los Angeles. So to make sure we can keep our ads running through the primary, we set a goal of raising $50,000 before Tuesday's end-of-month deadline.
