In 2020 I started Truth to Power, an organization dedicated to electing
leaders to Congress who will reject corporate PAC money and fight for
families, the environment, and the right to an abortion.

This year, Truth to Power is focused on supporting candidates who will
help us keep (and even grow!) our House majority. Democrats hold the
majority by just four seats. That’s the slimmest majority any party has
had in two decades!

My seat is one of Republicans’ top targets. Democratic Governor Gavin
Newsom carried this seat by just a single point in September’s recall
election. I’ll be honest– November’s election could be really tough for
Democrats. Recent polling has Democrats across the country way down, and
typically the sitting president’s party loses two dozen seats in the
midterms.

So while I’m working hard to win my own race here in Orange County, I’m
also committed to helping Democrats all across the country. When you
contribute to Truth to Power, you allow our endorsed candidates to run
ads, hire staff, and do what they need to do to win in November.

Our endorsed candidates include impressive leaders running in must-win
seats for Democrats–including newly created districts in Colorado and
opportunities to flip seats in Illinois and New York.
