To be blunt, running for office is expensive. In order to prepare for our
general election this November we need to hit our 10,000 online,
grassroots donations goal by Tuesday at midnight. We’ve already hit 8,012
donations, which means we only need 1,988 more to hit our goal!

Pennsylvania, will you chip in $5 right now to become a

moment will help us hit our critical fundraising goal before our
end-of-month deadline.

Let us explain why this is so urgent: If we're going to compete against
our Republican opponent in November, we can't lose the momentum we've been
making.

Whether or not we're able to hit this 10,000 online, grassroots donations
goal will directly impact our campaign budget and the investments we're
able to make.

Summer doesn't accept a cent from corporate PACs, so it's donations of
$5 that fund our campaign — and that we're counting on to
fund some of these immediate expenses:

* Organizing supplies like clipboards, paper, and pens
* Office supplies like printer ink, notepads, and even chairs and tables
to furnish the office
* A Zoom subscription to host meetings and train volunteers virtually
* Campaign literature including door-hangers and yard signs
* Gas to travel to every corner of the district and have real
conversations with voters
* Campaign signs to show the strength of our movement in yards across
the district

One donation may not seem like a lot compared to a 10,000 donations goal —
but if even 25% of the people reading this email chip in, we'll hit our
goal in no time. So when we say a donation of any amount counts, we really
mean it.
