John,
There are no words to describe the pain and horror we have seen over the past week. Our entire team is praying for the families of those who were senselessly murdered in Uvalde and the Robb Elementary community. Nearly ten years after the massacre in Sandy Hook, this pain is fresh in our hearts – and doing nothing is not an option on ANY of the critical issues facing our community.
Once again, we see that elections matter. They have real consequences. We should all know where every candidate on the ballot stands on issues as important as sensible gun reform. We know where Jahana stands. She has been unambiguous and unequivocal in her stance on gun violence prevention and responsible gun ownership. In Washington, she has been pushing for red flag, background and safe storage laws. She knows that gun violence is not just an issue – it is an epidemic in America.
So, we ask you: Are you ready to hold candidates accountable? Are you going to support those who are fighting to reform this absolutely inexcusable stagnation on gun reform? Because, the bottom line is: The only way to solve this is to make sure we elect people who are committed to solving the problem.
The House majority is on the line in November – and along with it, the gun sense majority. So are all the issues that matter – reproductive choice, COVID recovery, security for our kids and families. Will you donate ahead of the May fundraising deadline to help re-elect a champion for CT-05?

Thank you for caring, and thank you for all you do,
