Hey, John — it's Morgan.
On Friday, we emailed you to announce our team's goal to raise $30,000 in online grassroots donations before our critical end-of-month fundraising deadline.
In a moment, I'll explain more about why it's so critical we don't fall short, but first I have to ask: Will you make a $5 donation to help hit our goal before Tuesday's end-of-month deadline?
Now that we're less than six months out from Election Day, it's crucial that we have the resources to build a winning re-election campaign, and that's where you come in, John.
We've carefully done the math and $30,000 is the exact amount we need to raise by May 31st to grow our campaign operations to go up against seven opponents.
→ $30,000 will stock our office with desks, chairs, clipboards, paper, and pens.
→ $30,000 will help us hire staff to organize across Missouri's First District and train volunteers.
→ $30,000 will enable us to print more campaign literature including door hangers, walk cards, and postcards to spread the word about how important this election is.
→ $30,000 will fund events in St. Louis so Cori can have the opportunity to meet folks, listen to their stories, and discuss what they want to see Congress accomplish.
Unlike many other Members of Congress, Cori doesn't accept a cent from corporate PACs or fund this campaign through donations from mega-donor friends. Our campaign is completely grassroots-funded by people like you chipping in whatever they can as often as they can.
Sending Cori back to Congress in November will be no easy feat: We won our last election by just three points and the far-right has already made us a top target of their attacks.
That's why early support will make all the difference. If we hit our $30,000 goal, we'll start off this summer strong with the resources to build a winning campaign, but on the flip side missing this goal could mean delaying critical priorities and putting us behind.
John, there won't be a second chance on May 32nd to get this right, so please donate now.
Thank you,
Morgan
