John – want proof that our strategy is making a difference? Look no further than Pennsylvania and North Carolina, two important swing states.

In 2011, Republicans gerrymandered both states. But in 2021, we were ready for them. Here's how the congressional maps changed between the 2012 election and the 2022 election:

Screen 1: 2012 Election - PA w/13 Republican districts to 5 Democratic districts; NC w/9 Republican districts and 4 Democratic districts

Screen 2: 2022 Election - PA w/7 Republican districts, 8 Democratic districts, and 2 competitive Districts; NC w/7 republican districts, 6 Democratic districts, and 1 competitive district

Key: red means likely Republican district, blue means likely Democratic district, and gray means competitive

You can help us win more victories like these: Chip in toward our end-of-month goal!

Despite this progress, our work isn’t finished. That's because Republicans are defending their gerrymanders in many states, and in others, the maps could be redrawn after this year. On top of that, GOP map manipulators are seeking reelection and trying to evade accountability for their actions.

Not on our watch! With your help, we'll make sure voters know about the anti-democratic gerrymandering of politicians like Ron DeSantis, and we’ll prevent Republicans from stacking state courts with their preferred judges. Will you pitch in before midnight on Tuesday to help us hit our end-of-month goal?
