I’m reaching out to ask you to donate today because we’re just two days away from our critical May fundraising deadline.

Here’s why it matters: In exactly one month, our campaign will have to file a report with state election officials, and our fundraising numbers will be made public for everyone to see. It’s an important way of ensuring transparency in our elections. And it’s also a big test of our campaign’s strength.

We’ve set a goal to raise as much as we possibly can before then, which means our job between now and June 30 is to push hard to collect as many donations from as many folks like you as possible.

It’s important you know that everyone, including our Republican opponents and the media, will be able to see our numbers after this public reporting deadline passes.

That’s why I’m asking:

Will you chip in right now to help us get ahead of our goal? The more donations we report, the stronger our campaign will be, and our grassroots team will be taken more seriously than ever. That matters so we can move North Carolina forward.
