John,

May is coming to an end. We have so much work to do, and so little time left to do it. There are less than six months left until the general election. By the end of the year, we intend to register 50,000 new voters and mobilize them to vote with our Field Action Fund. But that work requires a lot of time, energy, and money.

We spend our days knocking on doors, listening to the concerns of the communities who have often been ignored and left out of the political process, communities of color and the youth about fair housing, economic justice, and fairly funded public schools. We are having these meaningful conversations to engage these communities not just weeks before an election but year-round to be sure they are not only registering to vote but also voting in every election, twice a year.

We’re on the frontlines every day, and we’re asking for your help: will you make a $20 contribution to help replenish our Field Action Fund? In order to expand the electorate in November, we have to expand our infrastructure. Please consider making a contribution.

Pennsylvania is the birthplace and the foundation of democracy in America. Participation in our democracy means voting for the change we all want to see in our communities and across the Commonwealth. When we all come together and vote our values, we will see not only our electorate expand but also representation that reflects our demographically changing population. Voting is the step we all need to take to move us forward.

May is already practically over. 2022 is going to be over in a flash. We have to build out our field program now to make an impact in November. Will you help us move forward by making a $20 contribution to motivate voters to be heard from the Allegheny suburbs to Bucks County to Philly to the capital region and beyond?

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in under-represented communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election.
