This election year is critical to ensuring that our democracy remains intact. Rising authoritarianism and threats against many of our basic rights are on the rise from Republicans, and we must do everything we can to keep them from gaining power this November.

As I look toward the upcoming primary in the new NY-12, I remain committed to fighting for the future we, as progressives, want to see. I have a proven track record of pushing back against far-right extremism and special interests, even pushing to impeach Trump long before the despicable actions of Jan. 6.
