I want to pass along the latest update from our finance team. 

So far, 5,489 of you have stepped up ahead of our May fundraising deadline to put The American SOS Project on track to compete in battleground states where Trump is trying to install one of his cronies. (That’s huge. Thank you.)

We’re still $61,465 away from this goal — and we can’t afford to fall short in our first month on the job. Will you chip in right now to reach our goal? 

What happened in Georgia this week was a relief, but it’s also a wake-up call. Trump’s candidates could end up in charge of overseeing the elections in several battleground states — places like Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Michigan, and Wisconsin. And they only need to win ONE to throw a presidential election into chaos.

Their scheme hinges on most voters just not paying attention to who’s running for secretary of state. Let’s be honest: It’s not an election that voters think a lot about (because the candidates usually aren’t peddling conspiracy theories, but I digress…). 

This year, I refuse to let Trump’s stooges go unchallenged. We must take on and defeat them — wherever they pop up. 

This fundraising goal is essential to our ability to compete wherever, whenever we need to, so I need to ask for your help directly. Please chip in to help meet our first monthly fundraising goal, and let’s go save our democracy.
