Governor Ducey this week joined St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix to lend a helping hand with their turkey distribution. He also announced Arizona's new Friends of the Farm program, an initiative that will get more fresh food to food banks across the state.

Arizona Celebrates National Adoption Day
This Saturday, November 23, Governor Ducey joined Maricopa County for its National Adoption Day Celebration. As part of the event, Maricopa County finalized the adoption process for 145 children who were once in foster care.

"[Governor Ducey] said that during the past 20 years, more than 4,000 children in Maricopa County have been adopted on National Adoption Day, but added that many children still remain without permanent homes."
