Hi there -- 

Summer is juuuuuuuust around the corner. That means sunshine, cookouts, time at the pool, and Special Olympics summer sports and events like Summer Games! 

This summer, thousands of athletes will finally have the chance to get back on the field and soak up some sun!

Time and again, athletes say that there is nothing quite like the feeling of competing — the roar of the crowd, the joy, excitement, and anticipation. Alex Hannah says it best: During the opening ceremony when we're getting ready, I get everybody hyped up with chants and stuff. I love when we come out and wave to the audience and give them high fives. 

We just have to do more to get athletes like Alex onto the field. That's why we're raising $20,000 before midnight on May 31, so that every athlete can feel the joy that Alex feels when stepping on the court >>
