Last week, two midwestern states were still finalizing their congressional maps -– Kansas and Missouri. It’s a bit of a good news, bad news situation.

Good news – The Missouri governor signed a map into law that will likely maintain the current 6-2 party breakdown, officially ending a stalemate where extreme Republicans tried to enact an unfair 7-1 partisan gerrymander -– thanks in large part to the public holding them accountable.

Bad news – The Kansas Supreme Court reinstated a gerrymandered map that artificially inflates Republican advantage at the expense of voters.

With maps locked in the midwest, we’re shifting to educating voters and fighting for reforms that will make elections more fair and representative. Will you chip in to show your support? [[link removed]]
