Friend,

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

That’s great advice from one of the best fictional philosophers of the 1980s, Ferris Bueller. And it’s on my mind today, because events that are happening right now will help determine the outcome of next year’s election.

Look at the fact that Democrats just won a hotly contested statewide election in Kentucky, prevailing in parts of the state where Democrats hadn’t won in decades. Or take a look at Mitch McConnell’s evaporating support here, where he’s earned his place as the most unpopular senator in the country.

And take into consideration the fact that, despite claiming to be doing the people’s business in the Senate, Mitch appears to have misplaced his gavel—refusing to hold a vote on ANY legislation for multiple weeks in a row.

Make no mistake: What’s happening all around us right now are the first signs that Mitch McConnell is not the invincible politician some people think he is. And I suspect that it’s only going to get more obvious the closer we get to Election Day 2020.

I have to give this team a ton of credit. From the start, you’ve refused to be intimidated by his powerful special interest allies and the millions they’ve helped him raise. One donation at a time, we’re proving we can close that fundraising gap and take them on.

As we approach our November deadline tomorrow night, will you make a donation and kick off the final year of Mitch McConnell’s tenure?
