Right now, outside groups are spending big to try to defeat progressives in primaries across the country and silence our movement.

Super PACs — including one backed by right-wing AIPAC — poured $4 million into progressive Summer Lee’s race in Pennsylvania on bad-faith attack ads, but her campaign’s organizing power helped her win by just a few hundred votes. Another PAC is spending upward of $1 million to try to unseat Rashida Tlaib in Michigan ahead of her August primary.

It’s only a matter of time before these super PACs and Republican mega-donors come after our campaign. Last cycle, right-wing groups spent about $20 million to silence our movement.

We out-organized our opponent and won — but only because we had a strong grassroots coalition to help us fight back against attacks and power our efforts to reach as many voters as possible with our progressive message.

That’s why it’s so important we bring that same momentum to our primary this year, when our movement is making strides on issues from holding Big Oil accountable, to canceling student debt. So we’ve set a bold goal of raising $100,000 before the end of the month to fund our work to knock every door in MN-05, run online ads, and more.
