John — the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and hand abortion access decisions back to the states.

If that becomes a reality, then abortion access will be decided by state Legislatures and Governors — and our GOP-led Legislature here in Pennsylvania will ban almost all abortions here in our Commonwealth as soon as they possibly can.

The only power to stop it would be the Governor’s veto. If I’m elected your next Governor, I will veto any and every bill that comes to my desk that tries to limit the right to choose.

That’s why it’s so important that we win this race. To keep abortion legal, safe, and accessible here in Pennsylvania I need you to support this campaign — because my opponent has vowed to do the exact opposite.

You may have heard what my Republican opponent stands for.

If elected, Doug Mastriano has vowed that he will sign any law that bans abortion in Pennsylvania. He will not only block progress but take us back to before Roe v. Wade . He has said that he would move “swiftly” on a six-week abortion ban and wouldn’t allow any exceptions to an abortion ban, including for rape, incest, or life of the mother — putting women’s lives at risk.

He has made it his top priority to pass one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country. Mastriano even said that if he were elected Governor, he would make abortion a crime — and throw doctors in jail for performing them.

A Governor Mastriano would take away the right to choose from the millions of women living in Pennsylvania.

This is why we need your help, John. The stakes in this election are simply too high for us to not give everything that we can. Would you be willing to chip in whatever you can to make sure Pennsylvanians have the right to choose? [[link removed]]
