John,

I'm writing today about my friend, Theresa Greenfield, who is running to be a different kind of leader in Iowa. She's fighting for the issues we all care about: Expanding access to affordable health care, protecting important programs like Social Security and Medicare, and investing in public education.

Winning in 2020 isn't just about winning the White House -- we need to protect our majority in the House and flip four seats to take back the Senate. It's possible, and the road to a Democratic Senate majority runs straight through Iowa. But Theresa needs our help to prepare for one of the most expensive Senate races in the country.

That's why I'm reaching out today. Will you step up and help Theresa? Please, pitch in $5 -- or whatever you can -- to help Theresa win in Iowa.

I know we can flip this seat in Iowa, and I'm not the only one. Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight has called Theresa's opponent vulnerable after her approval rating dropped almost nine points in a recent poll.

There's so much on the line, but together we can send a farm kid, mom, and small business leader from Iowa to the Senate and take back the majority. This fight won't be easy, and Theresa isn't taking a dime from corporate PACs. It's all hands on deck to power this grassroots movement.

Please, pitch in $5 or whatever you can right now to help Theresa prepare for the long fight ahead.

Thank you,
Cory
