This month started off with the devastating news that the Supreme Court intends to overturn Roe v. Wade, setting the stage for state lawmakers to ramp up their efforts to ban abortion completely across the South and the Midwest.
But this fight is far from over. In fact, this news means it's time to double down on our mission and fight even harder to ensure reproductive rights champions are elected to positions of power across Florida. The fight is now in our hands.
A few weeks ago, we brought together hundreds of Florida Democrats – elected officials, candidates, regional leaders, donors, allies, and volunteers – for our annual She’s the Change Conference. We spent the weekend charting a bold course for Florida’s future and laying the groundwork for lasting change.
