May has been a huge month for our campaign so far. Just last week, a new poll showed that we’ve surged from 6% in January to 16% in May — putting us just 1-POINT behind our establishment opponent Comptroller Peter Franchot. 

These numbers show that my running mate Michelle Siri and I have the right equity-focused message for this moment and the leadership experience to win this race. Now, we need your help to keep the momentum going. Will you contribute $50, $35, or even $15 to continue fueling our campaign?

This new data puts us at the front of the pack — and in what is virtually a toss up, every dollar counts. Our gains show that when Marylanders hear our message they resonate with it, and our big TV ad launch a few weeks ago has paid off in a big way so far. But before our critical end-of-month deadline, we need to raise funds to keep our ads running, reach more undecided voters, and fuel our growing momentum statewide.
