"We love because he first loved us."

- 1 John 4:19
Africa & Europe
Praise God for the successful Akiriket ceremony during which we engaged with elders in Karamoja, Uganda. The IJM Uganda program has set out to work closely with cultural and traditional leaders across the country as change agents with a strong voice to call out violence against women and children. Pray for the team as we build out the strategy on advocacy and community engagement. Pray for favor as we work in these spaces and for these leaders to embrace their role in community protection.
Latin America
Join the IJM Bolivia team in prayer for the complete restoration of all the survivors with which they work. The team is requesting that we join them specifically right now in praying that the Lord would open opportunities for these survivors to discover for themselves that they are not alone.
South Asia
Praise God for innovative survivor leaders who continuously find new ways to support their community. This month, we are especially proud of a survivor of bonded labor named Shanmugam who has run a successful handicrafts business that employs dozens of other survivors. Their products have been promoted across their state and are even available locally on Amazon! Pray for the ongoing success of their venture, and pray for other creative ways for survivors to find their passion.
Southeast Asia
Praise God for the incredible opportunity presented to IJM Philippines to raise awareness for the online sexual exploitation of children on the Atom Araullo Special, a documentary on one of the leading TV networks in the Philippines. The episode will feature IJM’s work, survivors and law enforcement partners presented by one of the best-known broadcast journalists in the Philippines, Atom Araullo. Pray that the Lord burdens the hearts of the Philippine people to fight against the exploitation of children as a community.
IJM Global Office & Partners
IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Praise God for the passage of emergency supplemental funding by U.S. Congress to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and surrounding countries. U.S. foreign assistance will help strengthen IJM’s ongoing efforts and other organizations in the region to combat human trafficking during this crisis. We applaud Congress for the inclusion of language in the Ukraine aid package that prioritizes programming to combat human trafficking.

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
