Friend,

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — and by that, we mean the first
round of early voting this election cycle! Are you ready to head to the
polls and have your voice be heard? You have many options this year when
it comes to how you plan to vote. Nevada has made voting easier than ever.
Early Voting starts today, May 28th, 2022 and continues through June 10,
2022. The actual election day is Tuesday, June 14th, 2022.

Let's outline a couple of ways that you can get your ballot counted this
year. The first is to vote in-person. You can vote at any vote center in
your County - find locations & hours available for[ [link removed] ] Clark County here
and [ [link removed] ]Washoe County here. Voters can register to vote AND cast their
ballot on the same day at a designated vote center during Early Vote or on
Election Day. Voters who want to do Same Day Registration must have a
current, unexpired Nevada-issued ID to complete their voter registration.
If a voter does not have a current Nevada-issued ID, they must provide one
of the additional documents below:

* Military ID
* Bank or Credit Union statement
* Paycheck
* Car registration or insurance
* Utility Bill
* Any government doc

For updates to existing registrations, you can still do so [ [link removed] ]online or
in-person from May 27 to June 9, 2022, but you will only be able to vote
on a provisional ballot in-person at any designated polling locations
during Early Vote and on Election Day.

The second option is vote by mail. All active, registered voters will
automatically receive a mail ballot with prepaid postage. Simply fill it
out, seal it in the return envelope, SIGN THE ENVELOPE on the OUTSIDE, and
drop it in the mailbox. If you did not get a mail ballot by today, please
reach out to your Elections Department at (702) 455-8683 (Clark County) or
(775) 328-3670 (Washoe County). Ballots must be postmarked ON or BEFORE
Tuesday, June 14, 2022, and received by 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 18,
2022.

The third option is drop off your completed mail ballot at a designated
polling location or ballot dropbox. Instead of mailing your ballot, fill
it out, as described above, SIGN THE ENVELOPE, and drop off your ballot at
a designated polling location or ballot dropbox of your choice, from May
28 – June 10, 2022, or June 14, 2022. For a list and schedule for drop-off
locations in Clark County, go [ [link removed] ]here. For drop-off locations in Washoe
County, go [ [link removed] ]here.  Also, If you are unable to drop off your ballot
personally, a trusted individual CAN drop off your voted mail ballot for
you. Voters can designate a trusted individual (family member or friend)
to turn in their ballot by mail, ballot drop box, or polling location.
There is no limit to the number of ballots a person may drop off.

questions that come straight from community members.

primary you can call the Voter Protection hotline. We have numbers for the
