When we made the decision to run a people-powered campaign we knew it would be a risk. But we also knew that there were lots and lots of people like you who understand how important it is to win this race and hold the majority for Democrats.

I know November seems far away, but our primary election is on June 28, and raising money now allows our team to make important plans for our campaign — including advertising online and on TV, reaching voters across Illinois and countering the inevitable attacks and disinformation from whoever wins the Republican nomination.
