Hi John,
Each week in the Biden era seems to bring a new historic-high and last week was no different. Gas prices across the country surged to a record-high, with gas topping $4.00 per gallon in every state in the country, led by California at over $6.00. As gas prices continue to climb, it is estimated that gas will cost the average American family $5,000 this year.
Liberal states saw this news as a reason to ramp up their war on American energy. California announced a fresh Green New Deal-style initiative that will nearly outspend the federal government. Not to be outdone, the Biden administration’s climate czar John Kerry suggested the country must increase efforts to eliminate gas cars at 20 times the previous pace.
State conservatives recognize that the best way to combat rising gas prices is by unleashing American energy, not by limiting oil production and outlawing gas cars. Just a few short years ago, we were energy independent, and gas was below $2.00 a gallon. With the right policies, we can get our country back on the right track.
Sincerely,
Matt
