John: Mitch McConnell and his allies are stopping at nothing to take back Senate control. They're sitting on $44 million in cash and launching attack ads across the country – and the national GOP even tried to kick me off the ballot! So I need your help:

The best, more surefire way to protect and expand our Democratic Senate majority is to defeat vulnerable incumbents like my opponent, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R), here in Iowa. If we flip this seat blue, Democrats will be virtually guaranteed to hold on to Senate control.

We can beat this guy: only 27% of likely Iowa voters said they wanted to reelect Sen. Grassley, and our state's top pollster pointed to "weakness" in his polling numbers. This is our greatest opportunity in decades to flip this seat and protect our Democratic majority in the process. 

Yet national Republicans continue to haul in tens of millions of dollars every month. They have major resources to attack competitive challengers like me – which is why we need to have the resources to compete, fight back and win.
