Hi John,

I never set out to become a politician. For many years, I was a doctor and Chief Medical Officer of Sacramento County. Everything I do as a representative in Congress comes from hearing my patients’ worries and from respecting their opinions.

John: May 31 marks our last budget deadline before California’s primaries and we have to show how strong our movement to protect and expand our House majority is now that Roe v. Wade is being overturned by Republicans.

Our health care—including reproductive health care access—is at serious risk. Please rush $10 right away to help us reach our $10,000 goal before the end of the month. Frankly, I don’t think I can overstate how pivotal November’s elections will be for our majority in Congress and for our health care outcomes.

Our opponents are getting more and more extreme as Republican primaries go on. They’re dangerous, John.

I don’t want them to undo all of the progress we’ve made, but make no mistake: They will be trying to enact a nationwide abortion ban as soon as they hold the power to do so. We have to respond to this all too serious threat.

Rush $10 to stand with Democrats as we enter the height of election season→ [[link removed]]
