Going into the midterm elections this year, there's a lot at stake for our country and our rights. The recent news about the Supreme Court's potential decision is frustrating and disturbing. But in our power as the people, we must use this rage to fuel determination and action.
The idea of living in a post-Roe society has united us but it has also highlighted the need for leaders in office who will unapologetically defend the rights of their constituents. If we lose the House majority in November, it is likely that the Republican party will immediately mobilize to ban abortion nationwide. Now more than ever, protecting our pro-choice majority is crucial.
I am coming to you today to ask for your support as I run for reelection because I am ready to continue fighting for your rights and interests alongside our Democratic majority.
