Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) has announced that he intends to meet with Steve Dettelbach before making his decision.

As you know, Sen. Angus King (I-ME) recently said he is likely to support Dettelbach for ATF Director. 

Therefore, if Manchin is leaning in favor of Dettelbach, he could have the support he needs to be confirmed. 

Don't forget that both Manchin and King were instrumental in defeating David Chipman's nomination.
