[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina

Team,

Yesterday, a new poll from an extremely conservative group was released showing Cheri down by just 1.8 points on Ted Budd — in the margin of error. This is the THIRD poll in the past two weeks that has North Carolina’s Senate race in a statistical TIE.

They released it because they see us surging. They are trying to sound the alarm for Republican super PACs and their wealthy donors. We urgently need to prepare for more attacks to come our way:

Make a donation before our May fundraising deadline in four days. Grassroots support is critical to ensure Republicans cannot buy this seat for Ted Budd.

Nonpartisan experts from CNN to FiveThirtyEight have said North Carolina is one of the three best pick-up opportunities for Democrats.

And with the Senate at 50/50, we don’t have any margin for error — especially if there’s any hope of expanding the majority.

The polls are consistently showing that this race is likely to come down to a very small margin on Election Day. It could be another 401 votes, just like Cheri’s race for Chief Justice.

That’s just how close races are in North Carolina, and it’s why we have to do everything we can to make sure we are turning out as many voters as possible.

With our race tied and our deadline in four days, we need you: Can you please make a $3 donation to help us reach our goal and flip this seat? We only ask because your support is so important.

This is one of our best chances to flip a seat and expand Democrats’ majority, but we need to put our foot on the gas to get the job done.
