We’re about to share something with you that not every campaign would: a snapshot of our ActBlue dashboard showing our fundraising over the past few months. Take a look:
We rely on grassroots contributions from folx like you to power our campaign. Unfortunately, our May fundraising has slowed down — even though the work to re-elect Ayanna and advance urgent policies to reform our criminal legal system, protect abortion access, and prevent gun violence hasn’t.
That’s why we’ve set a goal to raise $30,500 by Tuesday, May 31st to make the necessary campaign investments to keep Ayanna in Congress. But, with a holiday weekend on the horizon, we know it’s an ambitious goal to meet.
So we’re asking our top supporters: Before you log off, will you send in a donation of $3 — or whatever amount makes sense for your budget — from Washington to support Ayanna’s re-election campaign?
We’re in a critical time for our campaign. The midterm election is less than six months away, and super PACs and establishment mega-donors are already spending tens of millions of dollars to defeat progressives.
To re-elect Ayanna and show that our movement is here to stay, we have to hit our fundraising targets.
