Team, after Congress agreed to invest $23 billion in violent agencies like ICE and CBP who will terrorize immigrant communities, we took action to hold them accountable.
Last week, we sent more than 35,000 texts to mobilize supporters to call on Democratic leadership to reverse course and cut funding for ICE and CBP. And we just wrapped up a Week of Action where we rallied with allies across the country to demand lawmakers reimagine safety and provide crucial funding for their communities.
Our work isn’t done yet, but we’ll need your help to keep up our fight. Rush a donation to United We Dream Action today so we can defund hate and the deportation machine and start investing in immigrant communities:

Our Week of Action kicked off in Texas when volunteers rallied outside the Houston Joint Processing Center and the Plaza De Los Lagartos in El Paso demanding elected officials end local collaborations with ICE, cut ICE and CBP's budget, and bring an end to Title 42.
We engaged in peer-to-peer texting and phone banking to demand that President Biden cut ICE and CBP’s budget. Immigrant youth ended up taking action in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Florida, North Carolina, and Oklahoma to call out ICE’s cruelty and demand our elected officials defund their abuses.
It’s past time for President Biden and Democrats in Congress to live up to their promises and stop the expansion of the deportation machine — and it’s on us to hold them accountable.
Team, a better world is possible, we just need to fight for it. Help us achieve our reimagined vision for safety and investments in immigrant communities by rushing a donation to support our advocacy efforts.
