"When it’s tough, squeeze your hand and imaging your squeezing one of the children’s hands. Because you are running so that they can run free. And find that to be incredibly encouraging in a way because it reminds me that this is why I’m doing this: because I can run freely and I can go home free. But there are so many children that don’t have that choice, and it’s such an injustice. And we do it because of that. And we’ll keep doing it, and keep raising awareness and keep supporting this cause until we see the end of child trafficking and exploitation."

Tread on Trafficking is a wellness challenge and fundraiser that’s engaged thousands of people in the cause – and raised more than $600,000 to prevent child trafficking and care for survivors.

It starts again on June 1st, so right now is the time to set up your campaign and commit to starting your summer on a high note. It’s simple: Anyone anywhere can sign up. Treaders ask people in their network to support them for the number of miles or hours they spend running, swimming, biking, or doing any wellness activity.
