Boris has been announced as the next Prime Minister and jobs fair update

BREAKING NEWS: BORIS IS NEXT PM

Earlier today we heard the news that everyone had been waiting for: Boris Johnson will be our next Prime Minister. Boris has won the leadership election and will take up his post as Prime Minister in 10 Downing Street from tomorrow.

As newsletter regulars will know, I backed Boris during the leadership campaign and am delighted that he will be our new PM.

As Boris said in his victory speech we now need to get on with delivering Brexit and uniting the country and it is clear to me that Boris has the energy and the imagination to find a solution to make sure that we can leave the European Union by 31st October.

I am looking forward to supporting Boris and helping to deliver on what the voters of Burton and Uttoxeter decided back in 2016.

Don't forget too that this Friday is the biggest ever Burton and Uttoxeter Jobs Fair at the Pirelli Stadium in Burton.

There will be 50 companies present and thousands of jobs on offer, with something for everyone from construction to hospitality, engineering to driving, nursing to admin.

If you are looking for work then make sure you head down to the fair on Friday between 10am and 2pm!
