Tell Your Senators: We Need Medicare for All Now
Senator Bernie Sanders just reintroduced this critical bill in the
Senate. At Women’s March, we believe it’s urgent that we pass Medicare
for All and guarantee quality health care for everyone.

Health care is a human right, and no one should go bankrupt or die because
they can’t afford it – but under our broken health care system, millions
of Americans are going without the health care they need.
Senator Bernie Sanders reintroduced the Medicare for All bill in the
Senate with 14 original cosponsors after the first-ever hearing in the
Senate on Medicare for All.
Now our work continues. We must urge as many senators as possible to sign
on. [ [link removed] ]Will you take the first step and sign our national petition calling
on the Senate to pass Bernie’s bill and ensure that every person is
guaranteed quality health care as a right?
Our current health care system enables capitalism and gendered barriers to
care to deny women the access they need to take care of themselves and
their families. Tying health insurance to employment or marriage places an
undue burden on women – especially low income women and women of color who
may work minimum wage jobs that don’t offer coverage and can’t afford to
pay the out of pocket costs.
[ [link removed] ]That makes Medicare for All a feminist issue – and it’s urgent that we
get this bill passed in the Senate. So we’re asking,
John: will you add your name and
tell the Senate we need Medicare for All NOW?
