Get Out the Vote (GOTV) season has begun; here are the candidates AJP Action has endorsed Dear Email, It’s time to Get Out the Vote! 2022 is a massive election year. What Americans for Justice in Palestine (AJP Action) has learned over the past few election cycles is that our collective efforts to elect progressives into Congress are working. That’s why we’ve ramped up our efforts to find and endorse the best of candidates, folks willing to be consistent in their fight for human rights across the board. We need elected officials who don’t shy away from the fight for Palestinian rights, standing in the face of robust systems that have long upheld and enabled generational oppression. In doing our part to make sure they get a seat at the table and represent public opinion, AJP Action endorses the following candidates for the 2022 election cycle: Learn more about these candidates on our website. Interested in GOTV season and supporting these candidates? Plug into their planned events, visible on each candidate's website. As the tide shifts and support for Palestine becomes mainstream, I urge you to continue holding elected officials accountable for upholding our country's commitment to international law and human rights, ultimately ending US taxpayer support to apartheid Israel. This accountability must come as these individuals are running for office. This means knowing who’s running in your district, who they’re taking money from, and what issues they’re committed to. Are they willing to fight for Palestinian rights alongside other human rights issues? Are they being vocal about the plight of Palestine prior to being elected, proving that they’re NOT all talk and no game? These are all questions we should be asking ourselves, especially given the fact that all of our elected officials work for us. Therefore, they should be listening to our concerns and not only taking them into account but doing something about it. Thank you for continuously taking action against injustice and standing for Palestine; we won’t stop until it’s free. |
