Hi —
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month — a time to learn more about and celebrate the culture, history, and accomplishments of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
To cap off our celebration of this month, we're pleased to be joined by Pennsylvania State Representative Patty Kim on Facebook Live for a lunchtime conversation on May 31 at 12 p.m. I hope you’ll visit our Facebook page then to tune in!

Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have played crucial roles in building this country, yet they remain the frequent targets of discrimination and hate crimes. It's crucial to recognize the importance of this month and the importance of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to the fabric of this country.
We’re thrilled to offer an opportunity to hear from Representative Patty Kim about her work to incorporate Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage into Pennsylvania school curriculums, as well as her experience as an Asian American woman in elected office.
I hope you’ll join us on Facebook this Tuesday, May 31 at 12 p.m. for our Facebook Live Lunchtime Conversation with State Rep. Patty Kim. We plan to keep the conversation going and will continue learning how to be better allies throughout AAPI Heritage Month and beyond.
See you there!
