Big news, John:
Recently a Florida judge who was appointed by Ron DeSantis himself found that the gerrymandered map violates the Florida Constitution by diminishing the voting power of Black Floridians.

We’ve known all along that the manipulated map that DeSantis bullied the legislature into adopting diminishes minority voting power and would cement a GOP majority. Not only is this map illegal, it is undemocratic, unpatriotic, and just plain wrong.
But we can’t declare victory just yet. Florida’s First District Court of Appeal just reinstated a stay that has put the DeSantis map back into effect for now.
Given a choice between competing for political power on an even playing field and tearing down free and fair elections, Ron DeSantis and his allies are choosing the latter. But we won't let them get away with it.
